I’ve always been fascinated by the paranormal, that in-between place I’m almost certain we have all witnessed or been a part of at some point in our existence. I grew up in haunted houses, lived off Casper comics and enjoyed spooky shows and movies. In my twenties and early thirties I wrote short stories and entire novels told from the point of view of dead people who were just trying to make sense of the world in which they dwelled.

At some point, my love of paranormal stories and my love of art collided and I began to tell more visual stories instead with my photography and illustrations. My work is not meant to be scary or macabre, but intriguing. I simply want to tell the stories of the misunderstood spirits that dwell in my fictional haunted forest, Hearthbird Way.

Aside from the spooky stuff, I am a high school art teacher and I currently run the Young Potters’ Club at Capital Arts in JCMO. In my free time I enjoy battling Pokemon, watching anime, and spending time with my family.
